TEAM OF THE WEEK: Denmark

The Vikings won 20-14 at Freedom to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Brandon Wavrunek rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown, while Seth Alexander rushed for a 48-yard touchdown and recorded two interceptions in the victory.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Garrit Aissen, Luxemburg-Casco: The senior completed 11 of 13 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns in the Spartans’ shutout of Oconto Falls.

Josh Cribben, G.B. Notre Dame: The senior caught the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter of a 17-13 victory over De Pere. Cribben also made four tackles for losses and an interception in the win.

Owen Kudick, Kewaunee: The junior rushed for 304 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Storm in a win over Peshtigo that clinched the outright MONLPC-Large title, which is the program’s first conference title since 2010. Kudick set a single-game school record for rushing yards.

Nathan Stenzel, Sevastopol: The senior completed 4 of 5 passes for 92 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns, and made 10 tackles to lead the Pioneers to a victory over Gibraltar to secure a third straight conference title.

Carter Zawlocki, Bay Port: Following an injury to Isaiah Gash, the junior stepped up to rush for 169 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Pirates to a victory over Green Bay Preble and extend the FRCC’s champion conference winning streak to 27 straight games.
