Team of the Week: Ashwaubenon

The Jaguars rallied to beat De Pere 15-8 to pick up their first victory of the season. Ashwaubenon drove 77 yards and scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 5-yard pass by sophomore Cadian Vang to senior Cam Wheeler with 14.3 seconds remaining.

Zach Dellis

Players of the Week

Zach Dellis, Algoma: The senior recorded 13 tackles, including 11 solo stops, while rushing for 85 yards on 21 carries to lead the Wolves in a 26-21 loss against Kewaunee.

Jermiah Flowers, G.B. East: Posted 13 tackles, including 9 solo stops and a sack on defense in addition to rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns on offense to help the Red Devils beat Shawano 34-20 for their first victory of the season.

Wes Glime, G.B. Notre Dame: The senior had an efficient night, completing 11 of 12 passes for 172 yards and four touchdowns in a victory over Sheboygan North.

Andrew Pelishek, Wrightstown: The senior made a fumble recovery and rushed for 103 yards on 18 carries and accounted for both of the Tigers’ touchdowns in a 13-10 victory at Seymour, including the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter.

Elijah Wright, De Pere: The senior, pictured at top, spent a lot of time in Ashwaubenon’s backfield last week, recording eight tackles, 7 solo stops, four sacks and a fumble recovery.

Offensive Line of the Week: Denmark

The Vikings averaged 8.5 yards per carry in rushing for 332 yards in a 41-7 victory at Clintonville behind the offensive line of senior Jackson Koenig, junior Mason Karl, senior Bradyn Polomis, junior Griffin Skaletski and junior Ryan Wochenske.
