Standings in the Stands: Week 7

Attrition is bound to happen through the course of a long season.

It’s easy to show support when the sun is shining at the start of a game and you don’t have to deal with a cold rain or lengthy road trips.

But the strongest teams are willing to battle the elements to show their support.

Who is willing to do that down the stretch to win a championship?

Remember, we award a participation trophy at the end of the season for Standings in the Stands. So, your participation is necessary to win.

If you want to see your school make the cut next week, send AP photos and/or videos on Twitter (@AndrewPekarek), Snapchat (AndrewPekarek) or Facebook (PrepsAgenda) of your crew showing its fandom at a game this week.

Follow the directions at the bottom to read how your school can earn bonus points.

As always, student sections, bands, teachers, principals and parents are encouraged to apply.

4. Pulaski

The Zac-Pack continues to lead the Red Sea. We see the “In Marsh We Trust” sign for an outstanding head coach, but where have the “AP” signs gone? #AlwaysPulaski

3. G.B. Southwest

Michael Vivian, the MVP of this group, is a one-man show for S³. His “AP” chants are an example of strong vocal cords that are needed when the temperatures dip.

2. Ashwaubenon

The Pineapple People had to play short-handed last week, as it was without the services of Addison Stromberg. However, Chayse Earney stepped up and earned the group 10 bonus points for best Mannequin Challenge last week.

1. Luxemburg-Casco

The ‘Burg continues to impress. Its contingent headed out to Clintonville with its “AP” signs and secured some crucial bonus points to not only claim the top spot for a second straight week but take the lead in the season standings for the first time this year. Miceli Mania is running wild. Can anybody stop it?
